John Borwick is Director of IT Services & Digital Strategies for the University of Washington libraries. He has worked in or for higher education his whole career, and holds the ITIL® Expert, PMP®, and CGEIT® certificates. John has built and consulted on building IT governance structures for higher education IT; he has also built library-specific IT governance at Virginia Tech (as Library IT director) and at the University of Washington. Ray Frohlich is Director of Client Services and IT Operations at Yale University Library, where he leads enterprise systems, digital workplace strategy, the project management office, and IT operations, and provides leadership across Yale’s One IT community of 700. He co-leads cross-institutional research on IT governance in academic libraries, presented at CNI and EDUCAUSE, and has led library-wide governance, project and portfolio management, and technology investment prioritization at Yale. He has over 25 years of experience in higher education and cultural heritage technology, with early roles at the New York University Division of Libraries and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, followed by work at Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library before moving into broader leadership within Yale University Library. He serves on the NERCOMP Board of Trustees, and his work is guided by a commitment to clarity, collaboration, and technology choices that help libraries focus on what matters most.

Dale Hendrickson is a Senior Director of Library Information Technology at Yale University Library, where he leads a team of roughly 40 professionals across client services, software engineering, and infrastructure. At Yale, he has driven organizational IT governance, led the transformation to Agile project management, and served as a key technology leader on a central index initiative for libraries and museums. He brings decades of leadership experience spanning higher education, national research laboratories, and technology consulting, with deep expertise in strategic planning, change management, and systems thinking. Dale measures his success through lifelong learning and by his contributions to the success of those around him.
